Welcome to the Choice Parts Guitar website. I started putting guitars together in 2014 while working at Rogue Music Store in New York City. With access to various guitar and bass parts coming through, I was inspired to build quality, affordable instruments. My vision would start with a great pickup, a nice neck, a pre-assembled pickguard, a cool body, and whatever came my way. With the assistance of some talented ,experienced builders in NYC,I put together a number of great sounding and playing axes. Continuing on this path, I plan to build some hand-assembled, beautiful looking, great sounding instruments that will be hard to put down and hopefully inspire players to make great music!

Roadkill series: The Roadkill series of customized guitars and basses was inspired by a few ideas that were floating around my head. The proximity of fur dealers on Rogue Music's street in NYC, ZZ Top's furry guitar/bass, and a love of furry things (no animals were harmed in the process!). These were all formerly inexpensive guitars that I transformed into well playing, visually striking Glam machines!

Going forward, I foresee endless possibilities of a blog discussing great products relating to our craft (parts, gear), video demos and input from you players out there regarding parts "choices", combinations, and perhaps putting together the guitar of your dreams!
